Experienced Red Seal Millwright D7 Mechanical

D7 Mechanical LTD is on the lookout for experienced Red Seal Millwrights with exceptional welding skills, particularly in pulp and paper mill applications. This role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and installing industrial machinery in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a Red Seal Millwright certification and a strong foundation in mechanical systems and welding techniques. You will undertake maintenance and repairs, ensuring the reliability of machinery in coal mining, sawmill, and automotive sectors. Collaboration with technicians and engineers will be vital in resolving mechanical issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair mechanical systems across various industries

• Conduct MIG, TIG, and Stick welding for repairs and fabrication

• Develop preventative maintenance schedules to optimize equipment lifespan

• Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery

• Follow safety regulations and maintain clean work areas

Requirements:

• Red Seal Millwright certification and personal tools required

• Previous experience in industrial maintenance settings

• Strong welding experience with various materials

• Ability to navigate physically demanding environments

• Valid driver’s license and adherence to safety protocols
