Heavy Equipment Operators
- Fort Hills - 14/7 - Camp + Paid Flights
- Up to $54.86/hr
- Fort McMurray, ABNorth American Construction Group is hiring Heavy Equipment Operators (Finish Dozer) for their Fort Hills mining site near Fort McMurray, Alberta. Operators will join a large, safety-focused team working on one of the region’s largest contracts. Ideal candidates are experienced dozer operators with a strong safety record and a desire to grow within a leading mining contractor.

* 14/7 rotation (14 days on, 7 off)
* Overtime after 8 hours/day or 44 hours/week

* Minimum 3 years experience as a Finish Dozer Operator on civil projects
* Experience operating D3 to D8 sized Dozer or larger
* Experience with muskeg/soft & wet ground
* Experience building roads/corridors, back filling pipe/trenches, sloping/spotting trucks
* Minimum one year experience in a mining atmosphere preferred
* High school diploma, GED, or post-secondary education (asset)
* Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
* Proficient in English (verbal and written)
* Valid BSO or CSO Certification
* Silica Awareness, Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness, Hydrogen Sulphide, OHS Alberta Legislation Awareness, Field Ergonomics
* Ability to pass pre-employment testing:
Breath Alcohol, Urine Drug, Fitness-to-Work, Audiometric, Vision, Criminal Record Check What Will Make You Stand Out
* Minimum one year experience in a mining atmosphere preferred
