Position: Full-Time Mechanic - Sun Gro Horticulture
Become a critical part of Sun Gro Horticulture Ltd. as a full-time Mechanic in Wandering River, Alberta. Engage in troubleshooting and repair of heavy-duty machinery in a supportive work environment.

As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for monitoring, adjusting, and repairing equipment essential to our production processes. Your skills will help maintain high standards of quality and safety while working on essential machinery. Shared accommodations are provided for ease of travel to our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance routines on machinery

• Identify and dismantle defective components for replacement

• Fabricate repair parts using proper shop equipment

• Monitor equipment inventory and supplies

• Conduct metal cutting and welding repairs as needed

Requirements:

• Welding experience required

• Knowledge of mechanical devices and controls

• Willingness to work shifts and extended hours

• Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork

• Must lift up to 50 pounds consistently
