Tuc's Contracting is hiring a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic focusing on safe repairs and maintenance of highway tractors. This role is perfect for skilled technicians eager to ensure fleet reliability.

As a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic (HET or Truck & Transport) at Tuc's Contracting, you will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of highway tractors. Successful candidates should possess an Interprovincial Journeyman Certificate and have relevant maintenance experience.

Your role will involve troubleshooting, repairs, and adhering to safety protocols during shift work, including nights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of fleet equipment

• Complete scheduled maintenance on highway tractors

• Diagnose complex mechanical and hydraulic systems

• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs

• Ensure safety compliance in all work performed

Requirements:

• Must have Interprovincial Journeyman Certificate

• Experience in maintaining highway tractors preferred

• Alberta CVIP Licence is beneficial

• Strong analytical and diagnostic capabilities
