Drive your career forward as a Utility Operator with Kichton Construction LP at the Syncrude MLX project near Fort McMurray. This role demands proficient excavator and dozer operation in challenging terrains while offering transportation and camp accommodations.
As an experienced operator, you will engage in diverse tasks such as loading haul trucks and maintaining site safety. Working under the supervision of the Foreman/General Foreman, your contributions will support Kichton's commitment to the Energy and Mining Industries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct precision excavation and grading activities
• Manage materials effectively with dozers and excavators
• Adhere to safety procedures throughout operations
• Collaborate with crew to meet project goals
• Work extended shifts and in harsh outdoor conditions
Requirements:
• Minimum 2-5 years in heavy utility roles
• Experience operating D8, D10 dozers and excavators
• Required safety certifications including H2S Alive
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Physical ability to endure extreme work conditions
