Fort Hills Labourer Jobs - 14/7 - Camp + Paid Flights

North American Construction Group is hiring Skilled Ground Workers for their remote mining site team at Fort Hills near Fort McMurray, Alberta. This role offers the chance to work on one of the region’s largest and safest contracts, with excellent compensation and benefits. Ideal candidates are experienced labourers with a strong safety mindset and a willingness to work outdoors in a physically demanding environment.

• Up to $36.74/hour combined rate of pay
• Camp accommodation provided
• Paid flights to and from Edmonton or Calgary
• Paid weekly
• Overtime after 8 hours/day or 44 hours/week
• Night shift premium +$1.20/hour
• Vacation and statutory holiday pay on each paycheck

• Minimum 2 years experience in a labourer role
• At least 1 year of previous mine experience
• Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and recent Driver’s Abstract
• Valid CSO, Silica Awareness, Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness, Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness, OHS Alberta Legislation, Field Ergonomics
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing (alcohol, drug, fitness, audiometric, vision)
• Proficient in English (verbal and written)
• Safety-first attitude and strong listening skills

• Previous experience driving in the mine, shoveling, raking, grade/laser work, managing pumps and dewatering, installing piping and backfill
• High school diploma, GED, or post-secondary education
