NACG is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to work in a remote setting at the Suncor Base Plant. This position requires solid skills in diagnostic and troubleshooting processes for various machinery. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs on CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi machines

• Conduct preventative maintenance and servicing procedures

• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues

• Test repaired equipment to meet manufacturer standards

• Mentor and evaluate apprentices in mechanics

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years post-Journeyman certification experience

• Valid Alberta Journeyman certificate (Off-Road)

• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work unsupervised

• Basic computer skills are essential
