As a Road Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in our rapidly growing team at Sunbelt Rentals. The position involves a 14 on/14 off shift rotation, handling preventive maintenance and complex repairs on our extensive equipment fleet. Candidates should have proficiency with diesel machinery and a strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute preventive maintenance on construction equipment

• Diagnose and repair advanced equipment issues

• Ensure the safety and efficiency of all operations

• Keep equipment compliant with regulatory standards

• Stay flexible to prioritize tasks effectively

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Experience with heavy equipment preferred

• Valid Heavy Duty Red Seal certification is a plus

• Must possess mechanic’s hand tools

• Physically capable of lifting and working under varied conditions
