Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician

Located at CEDA's well-equipped truck shop, you will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diverse equipment, including Hydrovacs and diesel engines, utilizing OEM software. Enjoy the flexibility of either a 7x7 or 14x14 rotation while mentoring apprentices and participating in safety meetings to uphold a culture focused on quality and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance on Hydrovacs and Wet Vacuum Trucks

• Diagnose diesel engines and after-treatment systems

• Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and transmissions

• Complete Commercial Vehicle Inspections (CVIP)

• Mentor apprentices in their professional growth

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification

• Valid Class 5 driver's licence

• Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems

• Ability to obtain a CVIP licence

• Must supply own tools
