Heavy Equipment Operator

Ledcor is hiring Heavy Equipment Operators for a transformative reclamation project in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Your skills in operating various machinery will be crucial to our team's achievements.

As an Equipment Operator, you will engage in crucial road building and reclamation work. Your proficiency in handling dozers and excavators will help facilitate the efficient completion of projects. Fostering quality work and safety is paramount as you collaborate with other crew members to overcome challenges and enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators and dozers safely and efficiently

• Utilize graders, water trucks, and roller packers as required

• Execute excavation and earthmoving activities

• Carry out daily inspections and hazard assessments

• Work closely with team members to meet objectives

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of relevant operating experience

• Experience in reclamation or road building highly preferred

• Familiarity with GPS machine controls considered a plus

• Availability for day/night shifts

• Valid driver's license and required safety certifications
