Located at the Fort McMurray Town Shop, this position offers a 7x7 continuous shift rotation. As an apprentice, you'll assist with diagnostics and repairs of Caterpillar products while working toward your Heavy Equipment Technician certification. Ideal candidates will possess mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to safety in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair Caterpillar equipment

• Assist with field repairs and diagnostics

• Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily

• Complete service reports and documentation

• Collaborate with customers and Finning team members

Requirements:

• 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year Heavy Equipment Technician Apprentice

• Willing to pursue Heavy Equipment Technician Certification

• Completion of grade 12 education

• Previous Caterpillar mining experience

• Strong mechanical understanding of heavy equipment
