Excavator Operator

As an experienced Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating hydraulic excavators for various earthworks and site development tasks. Candidates should possess a minimum of three years of relevant experience along with certifications for safety management. The role emphasizes careful operation and maintenance of heavy machinery in the challenging Alberta environment, ensuring safe and effective execution of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate hydraulic excavators for bulk excavation and trenching

• Load haul trucks and grade material using GPS

• Backfill, shape, and finish ditches and access roads

• Complete daily inspections and report any defects

• Assist with equipment moves and site setups

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of excavator experience

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and transportation

• CSTS-2020 or CSTS-09 certification

• Ability to pass a pre-access drug test

• Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions
