Rough Terrain Forklift Operator (Fort McMurray)

Forklift Operator (Rough Terrain) Wolf Trek is an Indigenous Owned Staffing company based in Western Canada. We are currently hiring experienced Forklift Operators for various Industrial project sites located near Fort McMurray, Alberta. This is a temporary contract position from September 3rd to September 13th, 12-hours per shifts with overtime after 8 hours per day or 44 hours per week. Hours for completing online training and orientation will be paid.

Camp accommodations are provided, with flights to Fort McMurray from Edmonton or Calgary.

• Loading and unloading various materials with a Rough Terrain Forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Assist with general labour duties as required.
• Team players who have positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned.

• 2+ years operating a forklift within an industrial plant site.
• 1+ years experience working on a heavy industrial site.
• Able to lift over 50 lbs.
• Reliable and strong work ethic
• Able to follow instructions and be able to complete pre job training.
• Effective reading and listening skills.
• Strong team player, able to work well with others.
• Previous Industrial or plant site experience is required.

• Must have up to date H2S Alive, WHMIS, CSO, CSTS, and valid Forklift Certificate.
• This is a safety sensitive position so the successful candidate must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Must have the following PPE: FR (fire retardant) Coveralls, Steel Toed Footwear (CSA), Hard Hat, Safety Glasses (CSA) and Work Gloves.
