Excavator Operator Vacancies

Grizzly Trek is looking for skilled Excavator Operators in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Join a full-time position with a 14 on, 7 off rotation in heavy equipment operations.

This experienced Excavator Operator role offers steady, long-term work  will operate hydraulic excavators for various tasks such as trenching and site preparation. Applicants must possess a minimum of three years of excavator experience in oilfield construction or heavy civil projects. This role includes rotating 12-hour shifts that provide year-round stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate hydraulic excavators for bulk excavation and site preparation

• Load haul trucks and use GPS for grading

• Backfill and shape access roads, ponds, and ditches

• Conduct pre-trip inspections and log equipment defects

• Communicate effectively with crew and management

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of excavator operation experience

• Valid Class 5 driver's license required

• Certification in CSTS-2020 or Standard First Aid

• Ability to work a 14 days on, 7 days off rotation

• Strong safety record and outdoor adaptability
