Lattice Tower Assembly Labourer

Join Ledcor as a skilled laborer focusing on assembling lattice towers for an important transmission line project in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Your expertise in steel construction and heavy equipment operation will be crucial to the team.

In this role, you will engage in hands-on manual labor and work closely with heavy machinery, including operating Skid Steers and Loaders. You’ll collaborate with your team to meet production goals while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality. Your responsibilities will vary from site preparation to routine inspections, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble steel lattice towers in a team setting

• Operate heavy equipment like Zoom Boom and Loaders

• Conduct pre-trip inspections on all machinery

• Participate in daily safety meetings and follow protocols

• Complete general labor duties for site cleanup

Requirements:

• Experience in steel construction and rigging

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license;
Class 1A or 3A an asset

• Strong work ethic with outdoor labor capability

• Commitment to safety and teamwork principles

• Ability to read blueprints and drawings
