Komatsu is seeking Journeyperson Electricians for their Field Services team in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This is a 1-year contract role offering a 7x7 rotation, working on some of the largest equipment in the world. The ideal candidate enjoys challenging field work, problem-solving, and is eager to contribute to major mining operations while traveling to different sites.

• Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal preferred)
• Basic knowledge of PLC controls and wiring
• Strong understanding of electrical theory and rig-specific power wiring
• Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to make sound decisions in the field
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel and spend time away from home when required
• Valid Alberta Driver’s License
• No restrictions for access to any mine site
• Drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check, and submission of 5-year provincial driving record required
