Electrician

Join the Environmental Services team as an Electrician in Fort McMurray. This full-time permanent role involves skilled maintenance, installations, and electrical troubleshooting for municipal equipment.

As a certified Journeyperson Electrician, you'll perform preventative and corrective maintenance along with inspecting contractors' work. Responsibilities include installations, repairing unique electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Contribute to health and safety initiatives while working a schedule of 4x10-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical systems

• Troubleshoot complex issues with municipal equipment

• Interpret electrical and architectural drawings

• Install cabling and electrical components

• Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Certified Journeyperson in Electrician trade

• Three years of relevant electrical experience

• Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code

• Valid Class Five Operator's License
