Excavator Operator

Position: Excavator Operator with GrizzlyTrek Group
Grizzly Trek Group Ltd. is hiring an Excavator Operator in Fort McMurray, Alberta, for a full-time role. Enjoy a defined work rotation of 14 days on and 7 days off.

This opportunity is perfect for operators with at least three years of experience in heavy civil or mining operations.

Your role includes running hydraulic excavators for various tasks including bulk excavation and site reclamation. The long-term nature of the work ensures stability and the support for professional development and further training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute bulk excavation, trenching, and site grading

• Load and manage haul truck operations

• Backfill and finish site features like ponds and access roads

• Perform pre-trip inspections and maintenance

• Communicate effectively with site personnel via radio

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years excavator experience

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence

• Certified in CSTS-2020 or CSTS-09

• Willingness to adhere to a rotational work schedule

• Ability to pass a pre-access drug test
