NACG is looking to hire an experienced Journeyperson Machinist for our Acheson Shop. The role emphasizes portable line boring, manual machining, and ensuring components meet precise specifications. An important aspect of your job will be mentoring apprentices while adhering to safety and documentation guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up portable line-boring and bore welding equipment

• Operate manual machine tools effectively

• Execute repairs per customer specifications

• Maintain work scopes and accurate records

• Mentor apprentices to develop skill sets

Requirements:

• Valid Journeyperson or Red Seal certification

• Relevant 1-2 years experience with heavy equipment

• Required portable line boring experience

• Preferred prior use of lathes and drills

• Ability to read technical drawings and documents
