Fort McMurray Crane Operator Position

LaPrairie Crane is seeking skilled Crane Operators in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This role involves assembling cranes, executing lifts, and upholding safety regulations effectively.

As a crucial member of our team at LaPrairie Group, successful candidates will operate a range of cranes, ensuring all tasks meet our high standards. Prospective operators must interpret load charts and perform routine maintenance while maintaining safety and compliance with HSE regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, set up, and rig cranes with precision

• Execute routine and complex lifts safely

• Interpret load charts for crane capacity calculations

• Ensure apprentices’ safety during crane operations

• Secure machinery properly when not in use

Requirements:

• Membership in International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 955

• Local residence or willingness to relocate

• Valid Red Seal Certification

• Class 1 Driver's License

• Experience operating cranes and heavy machinery
