As a key technician, you will perform detailed inspections and minor repairs on heavy equipment to keep operations running smoothly. With 3-5 years of heavy equipment maintenance experience, you’ll work independently while coordinating with crew and superintendents. Strong safety compliance and communication skills are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough 500-hour inspections, identifying equipment issues
• Repair or replace hoses, bolts, and fittings as needed
• Service and lubricate equipment per maintenance schedules
• Document machine hours and necessary repairs accurately
• Maintain organized and clean service trucks for effective operations
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience in heavy equipment
• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 operator's license required
• Strong safety practices and compliance knowledge
• Ability to work in remote camps on a rotational schedule
• Pass pre-access drug and alcohol test required
