In this position at the Ruth Lake Shop, you will focus on repairing and maintaining our heavy-duty equipment. As an ideal candidate, you hold a Red Seal certification and have 1-2 years of experience in welding, specifically related to mining equipment. Your skills in various welding techniques, coupled with a commitment to workshop safety, are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair heavy-duty mining machinery

• Fabricate parts according to technical blueprints

• Complete necessary documentation for repair tasks

• Ensure compliance with safety codes and practices

• Assist in mentoring junior welders on safety and repair techniques
Requirements:

• Red Seal/Alberta Journeyperson Welder certification required

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar field

• Proficient in mobile equipment repairs and welding techniques

• Effective communication skills in English

• Willingness to work outdoors and learn continuously
