Skilled Ground Worker

NACG is seeking Skilled Ground Workers for its remote mining site in Fort McMurray. Enjoy a competitive pay rate of up to $36.74/hour along with growth opportunities in a safe environment.

As a Skilled Ground Worker, you will support operations at the Fort Hills site on a 14 x 7 schedule, alternating days and nights. This role requires outdoor work, handling up to 50 lbs, and driving light vehicles in the mine. Your contributions will ensure compliance with safety protocols while working on tasks such as snow removal and culvert installation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct snow removal in seasonal conditions

• Drive light vehicles safely within the mine

• Install culverts and pipes as directed

• Operate hand tools and plate tampers

• Review hazard assessments before commencing work

Requirements:

• 2 years of laborer experience required

• 1 year of mining experience preferred

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License needed

• High School diploma or equivalent is an asset

• Must pass pre-employment testing
