Heavy Duty Mechanics - $500/Day LOA - Fort McMurray, AB

Bouchier is seeking Heavy Duty Mechanics to join their Repairs and Maintenance team in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This company, a leader in integrated site services for the Athabasca Oil Sands, offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for progression and development. Ideal candidates are experienced, self-motivated, and capable of performing a wide range of repairs and diagnostics on heavy equipment.

• $500 LOA – no waiting period

• Journeyperson Interprovincial Red Seal Certificate as Heavy-Duty Technician or Alberta Journeyperson
• Off-Road Certificate is required
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Valid First Aid certificate
• Ability to dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools
• Knowledge and experience operating all equipment for positioning and diagnosing purposes
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• CSO (Common Safety Orientation) certificate
• WHMIS
• Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English

• On highway with CVIP certification is an asset
• Welding/cutting experience is an asset
• Good organizational and leadership skills
• Basic computer skills
