Finning Canada is hiring Heavy Duty Mechanics for fieldwork and shop support. This permanent role demands a strong background in troubleshooting heavy equipment. You'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing Caterpillar machinery, completing technical documentation, and engaging with customers and the Finning support team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and troubleshoot Caterpillar mining equipment

• Conduct field repairs and diagnostics on-site

• Complete necessary service reports and warranty information

• Use Caterpillar SIS and ET for daily tasks

• Cooperate with Service Supervisor and Leadhand on various tasks

Requirements:

• Certified Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician

• Proven field troubleshooting experience required

• Clean class 5 driver's license with recent record

• Commitment to safety protocols

• Knowledge of Caterpillar products is advantageous
