Join Finning Canada as a Heavy Duty Mechanic at Syncrude Aurora Mine Site. This permanent role focuses on large CAT equipment repairs in both shop and field settings.
Finning is seeking a qualified Heavy Duty Mechanic with significant experience in mining environments. As part of a team, you will engage with customers while providing top-notch repair and troubleshooting skills for Caterpillar products. Your dedication to safety and service excellence will be key in maintaining our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Comply with all safety requirements and protocols
• Independently troubleshoot and repair mining equipment
• Prepare detailed daily service reports
• Collaborate with customers and sales support teams
• Diagnose and repair undercarriage components
Requirements:
• Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification
• Minimum 3 years of heavy-duty technician experience
• Proven ability to conduct engine repairs independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with SIS 2.0 and DPSS systems
