This program offers a 4-to-5-week pre-employment training combining classroom instruction and practical application in the Insulator trade. Participants will learn about safety, industry certifications, and get insights into Alberta's industrial maintenance sector. Optional rope access training could be available for successful applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Measure and cut insulating materials to specifications
• Fit insulation around obstructions on job sites
• Report incidents and near misses promptly
• Prepare and review safe work practices
• Perform various labor tasks as required
Requirements:
• Valid government-issued Photo
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to safety practices
• Minimum of Grade 10 education
• Authorized to work in Canada with proof
