Step into a rewarding role with NACG as a Journeyperson Electrician at our remote mining site near Fort McMurray. This position is ideal for skilled individuals seeking a competitive rate and growth.
As a Direct Service Provider, you will work on electrical troubleshooting and repairs for electric haul trucks and mining equipment in the field. Previous mining experience and familiarity with Komatsu 830/930 models are essential. Safety and organization are paramount in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair mining equipment
• Maintain electrical systems efficiently
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks
• Monitor and ensure equipment functionality
• Support compliance with safety regulations
Requirements:
• Alberta or Interprovincial Journeyperson Electrician
• Previous mining experience required
• Familiarity with Komatsu electric haul trucks
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Must pass pre-employment testing
