As a Light Equipment Operator, you will play a vital role in maintaining the roads and public infrastructure in Fort McMurray. This position requires one year of experience operating equipment like tandem trucks and loaders, emphasizing attention to detail and safety. You will collaborate closely with your Supervisor to ensure the efficient operation of equipment and compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain assigned light equipment

• Conduct pre/post-inspections and report issues

• Perform minor repairs on machinery as needed

• Complete daily paperwork documenting equipment conditions

• Support Parks programs and winter operations when required

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Minimum one year of relevant equipment operation experience

• Valid Class Three Operator’s License required

• First Aid Certificate considered an asset

• Familiarity with safety protocols and equipment manuals
