SMX is seeking accomplished Account Reconciliation Specialist. This role is responsible for the detailed reconciliation of financial reports and supporting the accounting department in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This is a hybrid role supporting a Ft. Meade, MD customer.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive reconciliation of financial reports, statements, and accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Prepare and process Journal Vouchers (JVs) by creating and maintaining standardized Excel spreadsheets.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to G-Invoicing requests and transactions.
- Develop and maintain detailed spreadsheets to accurately track accounting events related to procurement and payment cycles.
Skills & Experience:
- Active Secret security clearance
- Three years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience with one or more Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
Skills & Experience:
- Prior experience with the G-Invoicing platform.
