Superintendent, Construction

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities for a mission-critical project at a secure federal facility in Baltimore, Maryland
. This is an approximately 18-month project-based engagement with a small, agile contractor that offers long-term federal opportunities.

• Location: 100% On-site in Baltimore, MD (Secure Federal Facility – inside fence line).
• Schedule: Primarily 8-hour days; weekends may be required depending on project phasing.
• Start Date: Mid-April

• Manage subcontractors and coordinate all day-to-day production on-site.
• Ensure strict adherence to project schedules and quality requirements.
• Maintain a continuous on-site presence until project completion and acceptance.
• Enforce compliance with safety standards (EM 385-1-1) and contract requirements.
• Attend Red Zone, partnering, and quality control meetings.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions as directed by the Contracting Officer.

• Experience: 10+ years in construction, with at least 5 years serving as a Superintendent on projects of similar size and complexity.
• Technical Expertise: Strong background in civil/site work, utilities Right-of-Way (ROW), and traffic control.
• Safety Standards: Deep familiarity with EM 385-1-1 safety standards.
• Compliance: U.S. Citizenship is preferred; candidates must be able to pass a background check for secure facility access.
• Tools: Proficiency in Procore
  ; awareness of Primavera P6 is a plus.
• Communication: Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
