Mechanical Inspector

We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Inspector to support the Storage Module project at Fort Meade through September 30, 2026, with possible extensions.

The Inspector will perform field inspections to ensure compliance with contract requirements, codes, safety standards, and industry practices. Duties include reviewing workmanship and materials, documenting deficiencies, preparing inspection reports, and using E‑Builder construction management software.

• Perform mechanical and construction field inspections for code and contract compliance.
• Review materials and workmanship and recommend approvals or corrections.
• Monitor onsite safety and labor requirements.
• Prepare inspection reports and document deficiencies or corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors and project teams throughout construction activities.
• Utilize E‑Builder for inspection tracking and project documentation.

• USACE QCM and OSHA 30 certifications.
• 10+ years of mechanical or construction inspection experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction codes, safety standards, and industry practices.
• Experience with field inspections, quality control, and compliance reviews.
• Proficiency in E‑Builder or similar construction management software.
• Strong reporting, communication, and coordination skills.
• Associate’s degree, trade school, or equivalent experience preferred.

Ability to walk construction sites, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
