MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer to join our team in Ft. Meade, MD area.
Responsibilities- Anlayses user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications and analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities.
- Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
- Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
- Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.
- Develops technical documentation and system architecture and system design documentation.
- Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
- Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
- 20 years of experience as a system engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or 5 years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrated experience in planning or leading System Engineering efforts
- 5 years of experience in the legal or technical aspects of Intelligence Community Compliance
- 5 years of experience with NSA System Architecture
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Poly
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of time
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
- Ability for clear communication with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
The projected compensation range for this position is $-$. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
