Position Overview
System Engineer 1 Ft. Meade, Maryland PF Team / Systems Engineering (Full-Time) / On-site. We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, testing, and deployment of data center solutions for satellite collection‑based systems. This role contributes to systems engineering activities across hardware, software, network, and RF components—including Hardware, Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS), Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), and LOPERS and/or TURNKEY solutions—supporting mission‑critical communication and signal processing environments.
The ideal candidate has foundational experience in RF and signal processing systems development and demonstrates the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team. Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and a position‑appropriate security clearance are required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph.)
- Support the design, integration, testing, and deployment of data center solutions for satellite collection‑based systems.
- Contribute to systems engineering activities across hardware, software, network, and RF components to ensure operational performance and interoperability.
- Assist in the development and integration of Radio Frequency (RF) and signal processing systems for communication system applications.
- Support system requirements analysis, architecture development, verification, and validation activities.
- Participate in system integration testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation to ensure compliance with technical and mission requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including system engineering artifacts, test plans, interface control documents, and configuration management records.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support lifecycle sustainment activities.
- TS/SCI with agency‑appropriate polygraph.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of systems engineering experience on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, computer science, information systems, engineering science, engineering management, or a related technical discipline. Five (5) additional years of systems engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

- Hourly pay ranges $34.96 – $106.10 per hour. Pay rates are guidelines and may vary based on factors such as government contract rates, education, experience, skills, and location.
