Work Model: Fully Onsite

Salary Range: $175,000 – $200,000 USD (depending on experience)

Clearance: Active TS/SCI Full Scope Poly required prior to start

This program is seeking a Data Scientist to support mission-critical national security initiatives. In this role, you will design, prototype, and implement advanced analytics and machine learning solutions to extract insights from complex and large-scale datasets. You will work closely with subject matter experts to transform manual analysis into automated, production-ready analytics integrated directly into analyst workflows.

• Develop machine learning, data mining, statistical, and graph-based algorithms
• Prototype and evaluate multiple models, selecting final approaches based on appropriate performance metrics
• Build models and design experiments when labeled or training datasets are unavailable
• Analyze complex datasets to generate data-driven insights
• Create reports and visualizations that clearly communicate findings to stakeholders
• Translate manual analytical processes into automated analytics
• Integrate prototype algorithms into production frameworks supporting operational workflows

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist
• 5+ years of experience analyzing datasets and developing analytics
• 5+ years of programming experience using data analysis tools such as Python, R, SAS, or MATLAB
• Strong background in:
  • Statistical analysis (regression, hypothesis testing, probability distributions)
  • Machine learning (e.g., Scikit-Learn, Tensor Flow)
  • Data wrangling and preparation of complex datasets
  • Database management and querying (
    SQL
    , Postgre
    
    SQL, Mongo
    
    DB)

• An additional 4 years of experience in software development, cloud development, or advanced analytics may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

• Active TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph is mandatory prior to start.
