Kalman & Company’s Business Analytics team is seeking a Knowledge Management Specialist possessing Power Platform expertise with strong software development experience to support Federal and DoW clients. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate), integrating with SharePoint, and leveraging programming skills to deliver innovative business solutions. This is an on-site position based in Fort Meade, MD.
The salary range is $110-$120K/year.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy Power Apps solutions and automated workflows using Power Automate to optimize business processes.
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards for actionable insights and decision support.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint and other enterprise systems for seamless collaboration.
- Administer and maintain SharePoint repositories, ensuring proper content placement, data integrity, and compliance with DoW standards.
- Support continuity planning and user training for Power Platform and SharePoint solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for Power Platform and SharePoint integration.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver secure, scalable solutions aligned with DoW and Federal governance.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- US Citizenship is required.
- An Active Secret clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Power Platform development and software programming.
- Expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate) with experience building interactive dashboards and automated workflows.
- Proficient in SharePoint administration, including document libraries, workflows, and site optimization.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, visualization, and analytics best practices.
- Ability to design secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions that meet enterprise standards.
- Knowledge of centralized knowledge systems and best practices for efficient data storage, retrieval, and sharing.
- Skilled in process improvement and knowledge-sharing frameworks to enhance collaboration and usability.
- Excellent communication and training skills to support end-users and promote adoption of KM tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience supporting DoW or Federal clients preferred.
- Microsoft certifications in Power Platform or related technologies preferred.
- Familiarity with DoW 365 environment and compliance requirements.
- Experience with API integration and custom connectors in Power Platform.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
