DevOps Engineer - Top Secret​/SCI Scope polygraph - Ansible Argo CD AWS Cloud Computin

Overview

Senior Dev Ops Engineer responsible for developing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Python), managing CI/CD pipelines (Git Lab, Argo CD), maintaining and hardening RHEL environments, and administering AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms to deliver a highly available microservices-based operational system within an on-site SCIF environment; requires TS/SCI with Full Scope polygraph, Security+CE, and 9+ years of experience.

The Dev Ops Engineer will be responsible for providing a reliable, highly available platform that orchestrates the microservices of a modernized operational system utilizing cutting edge technologies.

• Develop Infrastructure as Code and scripting to automate tasks, provision managed services, and build tools. Technologies include Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Patch, harden, and maintain compliance of RHEL environments.
• Install, configure, and provide performance tuning utilizing Kubernetes, Docker Compose, NiFi, and cloud-native logging and metrics collection tools.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deploying code using Git Lab runners and Argo CD.
• Manage commercial cloud computing platforms (AWS).
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders, recognizing Dev Ops as a team-oriented discipline.
• Work in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) as required; limited to no work from home.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 9+ years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
• Active Top Secret clearance with Full Scope polygraph.
• Current Security+ CE certificate.

• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure including EC2, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, Event Router, Athena, Step Functions using Terraform and auto scaling.
• Understanding of AWS networking principles including VPCs, NATs, IP gateway.
• Develop and manage Git Lab CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and ensure system uptime.
• Kubernetes experience with a focus on EKS, ECS, and/or Fargate.
