As a UI Designer, you ask yourself, “How can I make this better?” You have a masterful
knowledge of graphic design for digital interfaces. Wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes? Bring it on. Content management systems are second nature. Your ability to translate requirements into amazing web-based products is unparalleled. You see impossible design requests as a

- Create polished products with quality graphics for various initiatives and presentations
- Design, develop, and maintain web application solutions while gaining a deeper understanding into the security challenges of today
- Help manage and update content within content management systems like Word Press to maintain a professional front for the organization
- Design and create graphics to support organizational activities and communication efforts
- Collaborate with teammates to propose powerful business solution strategies
- You have a degree in computer science, software engineering, design, user experience
design, or a similar discipline. (Four more years of experience can be substituted for a
degree). - You have a minimum of 4 years of experience, more years are required for higher levels
- Experience in designing and implementing web-based solutions
- Familiarity with gathering client requirements and documenting processes
- Experience with User Interface and User Experience design
- Experience using tools like Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of web service and content management architecture
- Exposure to AI Content Generation and agentic coding
- Familiarity with Word Press, Nginx, or other web content hosting solutions
- Familiarity with web hosting monitoring, web security, and serverless (e.g., Lambda)
- Exposure to device and network fingerprinting techniques
- Exposure to the Atlassian Suite (Confluence, Jira)
Work location is on site in Fort Meade, MD.
Salary DetailsSalary range provided during the selection process. Exact pay will be determined based on individual factors that may include years of experience, contract requirements, billable vs. non-billable, position urgency/demand, and location/telework options.
