Our programs support multiple Federal agencies, the Department of Defense and often focused on the space initiatives of our government customers. Support the standup, configuration and implementation of Service Now’s ITSM, OMT, TSM, and TSOM modules.
Create and maintain Forms, Reports, Views, Workflows, Groups and Roles
Create, maintain and enhance Dashboards and reporting, including scheduled reports
Create and configure tool integrations with Service Now (Elastic, Netcool, Kafka, etc)
Coordinate and support application and platform upgrades
Assist with design, creation and cataloging of business process flows
Work with other members of the Service Now development team to propose solutions based on business needs and strategies
Perform the necessary tasks to design and configure Service Now functions to meet operational needs
Support business process re-engineering activities to move ticketing and order management capabilities into Service Now
Identify trends and find patterns in unstructured and semi-structured customer data that can be used to create a more positive customer experience and increase overall network performance
Interact with the customer to address Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues or conflicts
Developing, configuring, and customizing the Service Now platform to fit business requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems.
Orchestrate and automate tasks.
Responsible for the design and build of Service Now Applications and integration to other applications and platforms, including architecture, languages, best practices, and methodologies in an Agile Scrum environment.
Provide strong development and project on-track and on-task and collaborate on an ongoing project in both new and enhancements development between engineers, developers, analyst, and other team members.
Follow, maintain, and apply documentation best practice policies, procedures, and process throughout Service Now development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input to support ongoing business needs for Service Now configuration, implementation, and support.
Review and apply any additional UI/UX requirements from external and internal team and align into Service Now development.
Utilizes available programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation.
Support data migration as needed.
Design and implement solutions following established Configuration Management policies and standards.
Integrate data from multiple data sources into a unified CMDB, ensuring data quality and integrity are maintained.
Works with and mentors junior developers to guide and coach them throughout each project.
Qualifications
Requires a US Citizenship.
Hold and active security certification that meets DOD 8570 IAT level II or higher (i.e., Security+)
Must hold an active DoD Secret clearance.
Must be able to commute to Scott AFB, IL, Ft. Meade, MD, or Ogden, UT for full time on-site support
Bachelor’s Degree with 8 – 12 years of relevant experience or master’s with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of work experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
At least 6 years of experience with the design, development, and support of technology infrastructure.
At least 4 years of Service Now development.

Experience with Service Now upgrades.
The qualified candidate shall have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize, schedule, and complete multiple tasks.
Ability to multi-task and self-assign work in a fast-paced environment.
