Provides expertise in integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
Responsibilities- Shall be responsible for the integration, test, deployment, and troubleshooting of various production-ready mission services deployed in an on-prem enclave and AWS Cloud environments.
- Generate documentation for the full software stack.
- Update software for sustainment support.
- Perform basic Linux system administration and shell scripting.
- Execute test codes for characterization of software performance.
- Provide software product ownership for HPC tools.
- Work with CM tools, web documentation, and issue tracking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and switch between various architectural paradigms.
- TS/SCI with agency appropriate polygraph.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
- OR five (5) years full-time Computer Science related work with substitution for degree and at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience.
- OR an industry-recognized professional certification (as defined in TT0s) may substitute for one (1) year of experience.
- A Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years of experience.
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools.
- Experience developing Bash/Python scripts to automate manual processes.
- Proficient in Linux system administration.
- Experience installing, configuring, and sustaining COTS/GOTS/FOSS software in a Linux environment.
- Foundational knowledge of Dev Ops tooling (e.g., CI/CD, Git).
- Experience with Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem (NiFi, HDFS, Map/Reduce).
- Experience with installing, configuring, and sustaining multiple No
SQL databases including Mongo
DB and Accumulo. - Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman, containerd).
- Experience with IaC principles and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Salt, Puppet).
- Demonstrated experience using system monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana).
- Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, Pod Man, containerd.
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
- AWS Cloud experience.
