Responsibilities- Deliver products under the PWS and assist in ensuring that they are available to the greater US IC.
- Conduct data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis; use scientific techniques to correlate data into graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative products, enabling more informed analytic decisions.
- Proactively retrieve information from various sources, analyze it for better understanding of the data set, and build AI tools that automate certain processes.
- Create ML‑based tools or processes such as recommendation engines or automated lead scoring systems.
- Perform statistical analysis, apply data mining techniques, and build high‑quality prediction systems.
- Be skilled in data visualization and use of graphical applications, including Microsoft Power BI and Tableau; major data science languages such as R and Python; manage and merge disparate data sources, preferably through R, Python, or SQL; conduct statistical analysis and data mining algorithms.
- Have prior experience with large data Multi‑INT analytics, ML, and automated predictive analytics.
- Lead the migration effort from traditional servers to AWS, ensuring seamless integration, minimal downtime and cost optimization.
- Design and implement overall secure, scalable, and efficient cloud architectures utilizing a breadth of AWS services and best practices.
- Use IAM to create users, roles, and groups and ensure that the principle of least privilege is always adhered to.
- Implement correctly sized compute resources, Elastic Load Balancers, Auto-Scaling groups, VPC, subnets, NACLs, Security Groups, and firewalls.
- Develop automation scripts using Python and boto3 to streamline cloud management and deployment; implement automated infrastructure monitoring and remediation using Event Bridge, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, Lambda, Trusted Advisor, Config and Security Hub.
- Possess a minimum certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a website accessible by all IC members and various branches of the Army.
- Perform web‑based database design, implementation, and maintenance for the CI Common Operating Picture (COP) and the intelligence web pages.
- Create and develop computer software configuration documentation, user manuals, and provide one‑on‑one consultation to branch chiefs and senior analysts per CDRL A051.
- Update and maintain classified intelligence websites and associated systems; post data, provide information, and respond to documentation for RFIs, RFAs, and RFPs daily.
- Minimum education and years of experience requirements for the following:
- High School Diploma: 20 years of relevant experience with at least a portion within the last 2 years.
- Associates Degree: 16 years of relevant experience with at least a portion within the last 2 years.
- Bachelor’s Degree: 14 years of relevant experience with at least a portion within the last 2 years.
- Masters Degree or higher: 12 years of relevant experience with at least a portion within the last 2 years.
- At least two years of experience in website coding, basic graphics techniques, SQL, HTML, XML, Java, Java Applets, and JavaScript.
- Must be Security Plus certified.
- Must be qualified at Information Assurance Technical Workforce Requirement Level II.
