DevOps Engineer

T-Rex is looking for a fully cleared Dev Ops Engineer to work on a program in the Annapolis Junction, Maryland area in support of the Intelligence Community.

• Provide optimization and automation across multiple platforms and applications.
• Drive consistency for deployment and build processes.
• Utilize modern tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Linux, and much more.
• Worked with teams on large and demonstrable projects (preferably built on AWS and familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Ruby, Python).
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Set up a CI/CD pipeline.
• Understand Agile software development and Dev Ops practices and can work closely with your peers and other mid-to large size teams.
• Focus on understanding customers' needs and translating those needs from product specifications into functional, production ready code and infrastructure.

• AWS (S3, VPCs & Networking, EC2, ECS/EKS).
• Containerization (Docker, k8s, Registries).
• IaC (Terraform/Cloud Formation).
• CI/CD (Jenkins/ Git Hub Actions).
• Self‑driven, self‑learner willing to share knowledge and participate actively in a team environment.
• CWIP IAT Level I required.

• Salary range: $150,000 - $250,000 (annual base).
• PTO available to use immediately upon joining (prorated based on start date).
