Sr. Data Scientist – National Security Sector (CABA)

Leidos is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the National Security Sector’s Cyber & Analytics Business Area. The role focuses on advanced analytics, AI/ML prototype development, and data integration to support national security missions.

Our LOE program delivers rapid prototyping, new development, and advanced technology research to solve mission problems. You will create innovative prototypes, deploy solutions, and evaluate machine learning models for integration, inference, and data consolidation.

• Mission Focus
  :
  Collaborate closely with customers to evaluate and tune machine learning models for integration, inference, and holistic data views.
• Technical Proficiency
  :
  Write and evolve prototype techniques using diverse architecture and methods. Provide database administration, dataflow engineering, data wrangling, and model development.
• Qualifications
  :
  Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field plus a minimum of eight years of relevant experience. Proficiency with Python (Sci Kit-learn, Tensor Flow, PyTorch), R, GIT, Jupyter Notebooks, relational database administration.
• Security Clearance Requirement
  :
  Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Desirable Skills
  :
  Experience with large language models, retrieval augmented generation (RAG), or model context protocol (MCP).
