WS is seeking a mission‑driven CNO Reverse Engineer – Level 2 that is well suited to solve complex technical challenges across defense, intelligence, and secure technology environments. In this role, you will contribute to the development of mission‑critical cyber capabilities, drive excellence in CNO development and lead efforts in advanced Computer Network Operations (CNO) to safeguard national security systems.
Pay is based on relevant years of experience and education
- Perform reverse engineering of hardware components and software applications to design and develop new bleeding‑edge CNO software.
- Use software version control tools (e.g., Subversion and CVS).
- Communicate project status to leadership and stakeholders.
- Utilize tools and techniques such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, Olly Dbg, and other industry‑standard software for hardware and software analysis.
- Provide/author and participate in technical presentations on assigned projects.
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, or related field.
- 10 years relevant experience (or 15 years without BS).
- Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in either hardware or software reverse engineering.
- Experience programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
- TS/SCI Security Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
- Experience with networking (TCP/IP) and socket‑level programming.
- Experience with Malware Analysis.
- Experience with Software Forensics.
- Experience in low‑level internals on one or more platforms (e.g., Windows, Unix, mobile, or network devices).
May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
