Job DescriptionLight Grid is seeking a Strategy Analyst/Telecom Project Manager to work in Fort Meade, MD. ACTIVE DOD SECRET Clearance is required.
Required Experience and Education- Master’s Degree
- PMP or equivalent certificate/license
- Minimum 15 years of experience in strategic planning and telecom project management
- Telecommunications background
- Experience reviewing, analyzing, and contributing to architecture diagrams, call flows, physical connectivity diagrams, and related engineering documents
- Familiarity with Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System process, DoD acquisition principles, ITIL, SDLC models and phases, and DoD Architecture Framework
- Experience building a project schedule within Microsoft Project
- Strong understanding of DISA IE preferred
- Provide project management and strategic planning service support within the DISA Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Transport Directorate (IE)
- Support technology refresh, enhancement, and modernization strategic planning sessions with the Government and stakeholders across DISA and DoD
- Develop strategic plans, process improvements, policy recommendations, and guidance for governance activities
- Review, update, and develop draft architecture diagrams, call flows, and physical connectivity diagrams in collaboration with the IE5 Engineering Division
- Develop courses of action (COA) and business case analysis (BCA) documentation when required
- Create technical white papers, briefings, DISA Advisory Messages (DAM), congressional briefs, and other analyses for senior leaders and stakeholders
- Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and other forums for communicating program/project objectives, including coordinating reports, action items, and briefing charts
- Conduct requirements management: collect, develop, and maintain requirements for current and future emerging technology needs and produce requirements traceability matrices (RTM)
- Perform risk analysis and risk management: develop processes to identify, evaluate, rank, and mitigate risks, and communicate mitigation plans
- Use Microsoft Project to develop program schedules, including work breakdown structures (WBS) for programs and projects
- Analyze projects to identify critical path items, mission impact, and due dates for schedules and briefings
