Agile Defense is seeking an Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) Test Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) Test, Evaluation, and Certification (TEC) II contract at Fort Meade, MD. The selected candidate will join the Mission Partner Environment (MPE) Operational Assessment (OA) team to perform analytical work in support of testing, evaluation, and certification of Information Technology/National Security Systems related to the Department of Defense's maritime surface platforms in accordance with DODI 8330.01 and JITC guidance and procedures.

The selected candidate will apply common T&E processes that include identifying requirements, verifying user needs, developing evaluation approaches, collecting data, analyzing data, and reporting findings. The selected candidate will perform interoperability test planning and conduct interoperability T&E, to include analyzing test results and preparing thorough, accurate, and complete formal test documentation. The selected candidate will provide consultation on complex projects and be a top-level contributor/specialist in their department.

Travel estimate is 10-25%. Education and Background Bachelor's degree in information technology related field. Years of Experience 10 years Required Skills

  • Must have extensive T&E Background
  • Familiarity with the Agile Product Development Cycle
  • Experience with Agile development processes and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • Must be proficient with MS Office tools
  • Experience with at least some of the following applications:
    Service Now, Share Point
  • Must possess solid organization abilities and be a motivated, flexible team player
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills

Working Conditions

Physical Requirements:

None $130,000 - $145,000 a year In addition, Agile Defense invests in its employees beyond just compensation.
