Database Engineer (Oracle)
Location:
Fort Meade, MD vicinity (subject to change based on client needs).
Security Clearance: TS/SCI with a Polygraph.
Responsibilities- Provide administrator and engineer support with a focus on data optimization.
- Work with large data sets, seeking Oracle efficiencies.
- Optimize an Oracle system to operate at peak performance and efficiency.
- Shape how massive and unusual data types are processed, stored and leveraged.
- Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of experience as a Database Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required, or five (5) years of Database Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL.
