System Integration Engineer – Intel Sector, Leidos

We seek a highly motivated System Integration Engineer with proven experience in installing, configuring, developing, and integrating prototype applications for technical evaluation. The engineer will support a lab environment providing customers with support for developing and testing experiments.

Our LOE program delivers mission success by rapid prototyping, new development, and advanced technology research.

• Install, configure, develop, and integrate prototype applications for technical evaluation.
• Support a lab environment for customers developing and testing experiments.
• Maintain hardware installations, including servers and network infrastructure.
• Set up storage such as network‑attached storage.
• Implement security best practices, including PKI certificate generation, deployment, and maintenance.

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years experience, master’s degree plus 3 years, associate’s degree plus 7 years, or high school diploma/GED plus 9 years may be considered.
• Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Must possess an IAT‑I certification such as Network+ CE or Security+ CE.
• Experience in computer or information systems design/development, programming, cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, systems engineering, and network or system administration.
• Strong Linux experience.
• Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and information technology support or management.
• Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages such as Bash, Bourne, or
  
  C.

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

• Deploying and maintaining nginx.
• Docker and Red Hat Satellite familiarity.
• Experience with cloud computing environments such as AWS.
• Infrastructure as Code products (Terraform, Salt, Ansible) and monitoring platforms (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with SELinux and FIPS.

$73,450 – $132,775 (general guideline).
