Overview

Technical Lead – Design, implement, and maintain strategic, multi‑disciplinary IT programs that support corporate strategy. Apply extensive technical expertise and industry knowledge to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

• Mentor and supervise team members.
• Work largely independently, providing direction to projects.
• Manage large‑scale DoD network deployments from requirements gathering through completion.
• Lead teams, including scheduling, resource planning, deliverable oversight, and day‑to‑day task coordination.
• Provide hands‑on technical leadership and deploy commercial off‑the‑shelf (COTS) products in multi‑tier architectures.
• Deploy Atlassian Data Center backend infrastructure, including Jira.
• Migrate on‑premise applications to cloud and container‑based architectures (Kubernetes, EKS, or AKS).
• Work with OEM vendor sales, support, and professional services to ensure configuration baselines align with best practices and hardening guidelines.
• Maintain security posture and ensure solutions meet Zero Trust principles.

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical IT or Cybersecurity Project Manager.
• Experience managing large‑scale DoD network deployments.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Hands‑on technical expertise with COTS deployments.
• Experience deploying Atlassian Data Center back‑end infrastructure.
• Experience migrating on‑premise applications to cloud and container environments.
• Familiarity with OEM vendor engagement for configuration baselines.
• Secret clearance required.
• HS diploma or GED.

• Experience with visualization platforms (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI).
• Project artifacts and documentation skills (project plans, milestone charts, roadmaps).
• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Annualized salary range: $86,900.00 to $ USD. Compensation is based on experience, location, and organizational needs.
