Job Description
The Net America Corporation, a Woman‑owned firm, is seeking an Intermediate Asset Specialist to manage IT procurement and inventory management operations. The Specialist will maintain records and databases for warranties and service agreements, minimizing costs through product standardization and tracking.
Responsibilities- Account for IT assets throughout the enterprise using ITSM tools.
- Perform audits and analysis of purchase, inventory, and disposal of equipment.
- Assist senior staff with IT lifecycle management policies and conflict resolution.
- Consolidate databases and spreadsheets to import inventory into the client inventory by exception tool and Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).
- Verify, enter, and adjust equipment data in various forms, schedules, and reports.
- Track the entire lifecycle of assets to maintain warranty and licensing information, refresh, and end‑of‑life dates.
- Develop written plans, policies, and procedures for asset management implementation.
- Create records, spreadsheets, and databases from DPAS records.
- Audit inventory and lifecycle replacement programs using Asset Management, Discovery, and Dependency Mapping tools.
- Reconcile data between inventory by exception, Asset Management, and DPAS.
- Coordinate asset management meetings and interdepartmental actions.
- Assist Program Managers with equipment handling for DRMO, issuing IT hardware and software to client personnel, storage, and warehouse organization/inventory management.
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in IT procurement, inventory management, or related area.
- Familiarity with IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
- IT procurement and inventory management experience.
- Audit experience.
- Knowledge of DoD property accountability regulations and procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of DPAS.
- Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must hold a Secret Clearance.
